A magical combination of flavours and textures – tangy stilton and crunchy walnut go so brilliantly on toast.

100g Stilton
1 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Pear, cored and finely sliced
1 handful of Walnuts
1 handful of Cress
2 slices of one of our Bloomers
Crumble the stilton into a bowl, using your hands. Add a tablespoon of mayo and season to taste, with a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
Toast 2 slices of our Heroic Wholemeal Bloomer – then top with a good bit of butter.
Spread the stilton and mayo combo evenly across your bread.
Top with the finely-sliced pear, and sprinkle evenly with walnuts and cress, before serving.
Not into cheese? Why not mash up an avocado and use that instead? Just as creamy, but ingeniously vegan!
